With more than two decades of hands-on experience in the fields of real estate marketing and advertising, Janeen launched JKS Events to share her passion for party planning with the world. She merged her company with Powered by Professionals where she has become the driving force behind PBP's corporate events division, Powered Events.


Her passion lies in creating unique and memorable experiences through strategic activations while staying ahead of the trends. As a proven leader in corporate event planning, Janeen is an expert at identifying her clients' needs and delivering results that exceed expectations. About Powered By Professionals

Founded in 2002 by CEO Darren W. Port, and Kenneth J. Grosso, Powered by Professionals was created to provide benevolent organizations with the guidance and resources they need to achieve awareness goals and maximize fundraising.


In 2010, Darren took sole ownership of the company. He has continued to recruit a talented team of passionate, experienced, and well-educated individuals who share PBP’s vision and help him execute the company’s mission. For over 21 years, PBP brings sound business practices to the nonprofit event management arena.


As of 2023, PBP has planned over 400 in-person, hybrid, and virtual events and has helped raise close to $250 million for over 100 nonprofit and charity organizations.

In 2023, Powered by Professionals merged with JKS Events and we launched our new corporate events division, Powered Events. At Powered Events, we understand that one size doesn't fit all when it comes to corporate event planning; every business has its own unique needs and objectives. That's why our team takes a customized approach to each project, working closely with clients to develop an event tailored to their specific needs and goals.
